Did you know you can learn how to sing using backing track disks? Using vocal exercise disks for scale training is one thing but hitting the high notes when singing along with a backing track disk is somehow generally more satisfying and more rewarding! As we all know, the ability to sing comes from the manipulation of our vocal muscles which produce different tones. Vocal exercise disks can tend to be very chromatic in style (for example, doh-ray-mee and so on) but, with backing track disks, you may find yourself going straight from the high notes to the low notes which is training that a normal vocal exercise disk does not offer you! Please bear in mind that the recordings on these disks are not recordings by the original artistes - they are high-quality reproductions which have been reproduced as close to the original recording as possible. Some disks can contain a backing vocalist or a chorus on them for certain parts of the track in order to make the track sound as close to the original recording as possible, so not all disks would be suitable if you are looking purely for a disk which is 100% backing-vocal free. |
